Day 6 of this Wine Adventure zips us west across the Atlantic to Argentina. Big, bold, and saturated with intense flavor, some Malbecs can be off-putting but when done right they offer a rich, heady red wine experience.

*According to the Costco Advent-ure box importer, “Due to supply chain issues with some of the wines in this year’s calendar, a few of the wines differ.” If you didn’t get a Malbec then you got a French Pinot Noir. See this link: https://www.wineadvent-ure.com/day6

We put this bottle through its paces on the tasting chart and come up with a score. Join me, David Devere, Minnesota’s first licensed wine educator, as we open a bottle from this clever advent calendar each day from December 1st to 24th. While I’m not expecting the best wines in the world it does give me an opportunity to teach you about wine appreciation while having fun growing a wine community here on Youtube. Cheers!
