Bubbly Explained: The difference between sparkling wines | Champagne | Cava | Prosecco | California Champagne

Getting ready for 2022? I thought I’d take this opportunity to explain the differences within the category of Sparkling Wine. While I think more and more people in the U.S. are catching on to the variety in wines, I still hear many refer to it all sparkling wines as champagne.

In today’s video, I’m talking through the sparkling wines (Champagne, Cava, Prosecco, California Champagne) their origins, grapes used, and their respective price points that you can keep in mind next time you’re out shopping for some bubbly wine.

No matter the occasion, you can’t ever really go wrong when drinking a glass of sparkling wine and I hope you’re inspired after watching this video to grab a bottle to ring in the New Year!
