What is Gamay Noir? Gamay Noir, the main grape of Beaujolais, is described by Brianne Day of Day Wines in Oregon. She describes it as “a party in a glass, and a fun little wine” because of how much less serious the wines and the region tend to be as compared to Burgundy and Pinot Noir.
