Do you love wine? Have you ever wondered what the term reserve or reserva actually means and what the difference is when comparing the two? In this documentary we explore what the differences are and answer the question of whether a reserve wine is actually a more premium type of vino.

We look at the different criteria winemakers consider when classifying their wine as a reserava and talk about the few countries who have set regulations winemakers must adhere to in order to use this term.

Is it related to the type of vineyard a wine is made in, or perhaps the barrel types or length of time the wine is stored in them? You probably associate a reserve wine as more premium, so let’s find out once and for all if a reserva is, in fact, just that.
