Welcome to Villa Ca’ Vendri wines, Verona, Italy talking to Blandine De Brier Manoncourt – another installment of “On The Road Edition” hosted by Stevie Kim. For this episode Stevie takes a break from Italian wine and tries its French cousin through an interview with Blandine De Brier Manoncourt owner of Château-Figeac in Bordeaux. Blandine De Brier Manoncourt will talk to Stevie about the winery, the prestigious wines and the strategy adopted during the pandemic. The occasion for this interview was the event “Bordeaux en primeurs 2021” organised by Crus et Domaines de France that was held in Verona at Villa Ca’ Vendri.

Blandine De Brier Manoncourt is the owner of the prestigious Château-Figeac winery, which has been in her family since 1892. The winery is located in the heart of the Saint-Emilion area in the Bordeaux region, spanning 54 hectares, the entire estate has “Premier Grand Cru Classé’’, though nearly a quarter is left unplanted with vines in order to preserve a high-quality living environment and an overall natural balance. In all these years Château-Figeac has always been committed to promoting and growing the prestige and reputation of the region.
