Cosimo Maria Masini talks about the unique soils and terroir at his estate in Tuscany. Situated on an ancient sea bed, the vines benefit from rich mineral deposits left on the sea floor in the form of shells of all sorts. Cosimo Maria Masini is the owner at Cosimo Maria Masini Wines in San Miniato, Tuscany, a biodynamic estate making Sangiovese and other varieties in the north of the Chianti region.
